Privacy policy

This policy explains what IMEILens ("we") collects and why.

What we collect

IMEI numbers you enter, to run the checks you request. When you buy a report, our payment partner Dodo Payments (merchant of record) collects your email, billing country and payment details; we receive your email, the order ID and the IMEI you checked. We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser) for security.

Free tools

The IMEI generator, validator, check-digit calculator and MEID converter run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us. The model lookup sends only the first 8 digits (TAC) unless the TAC is unknown.

Who we share data with

Dodo Payments (payments, tax and invoicing), our IMEI data supplier (receives the IMEI only, to run the check), and our hosting provider Vercel. We never sell personal data and never provide device owner information.

Retention

Paid reports are stored for 12 months so you can reopen them, then deleted. Logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@imeilens.com. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie to remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies.
