About IMEILens

Atualizado: 2026-11-01 · English version

IMEILens helps people avoid buying lost, stolen or locked phones, and gives developers free, accurate IMEI tools. We publish in eight languages because used-phone scams are a global problem and most IMEI sites only serve English speakers well.

Where our data comes from

Free tools (validator, check-digit calculator, generators, MEID/IMEISV/ICCID converters) run entirely in your browser using the public IMEI and ICCID standards (3GPP TS 23.003 and ITU-T E.118) and the Luhn algorithm. Model identification uses a TAC database of about 276,000 entries (github.com/MoazEb/tac-database, MIT licence). Paid reports query commercial IMEI data providers that aggregate carrier, GSMA blacklist and manufacturer data at the moment you run the check.

How we keep results accurate

Every number is validated before it's sent anywhere. Reports show the raw answer from the data source next to our plain-language summary, failed checks are flagged on the report and refunded, and we recommend re-checking a phone on the day you pay because blacklist status can change at any time.

What we will never do

We do not provide device owner information, Apple ID details or any personal data about previous owners, and we do not offer IMEI changing, unlocking of blacklisted phones or iCloud bypass. Generated IMEIs and ICCIDs are for software testing only.

Independence

We are not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Google, GSMA or any carrier. Brand names are used only to describe which devices a tool or page applies to.
